For more than 130 years, various members of our family, both along the maternal and paternal side, have been accumulating the wealth and professional experience in the science and practice of law, passing their passion and dedication down to the next generations. You can thus say that the Filipović-Ademović & Associates is a true family tradition.
The recorded history of our family maternal family’s ties with the legal profession goes back to my great – grandfather, Jusuf – beg Filipović – the first Bosniak lawyer in the Register of Lawyers in Sarajevo in 1883. My grandfather, Mahmut Filipović, continued his tradition that was then passed onto my mother, Meliha Filipović – Ademović – the youngest lawyer in former Yugoslavia.
